The Serenade Strong has the same design as Bloch's Serenade pointe shoe with a stronger shank. It controls the foot laterally and fits narrow and snug at the heel. Its wide, oblong platform and lower box height give lateral support, which helps dancers who tend to sickle or fall off pointe sideways.
